Paired up with the lovely ladies of Sigma Kappa and the men of Delta Chi, Pikes led the way to our first ever Greek Week victory in Beta Tau history. Led by Greek Week chairs Matt Ghaman and Dave Hayes who put in countless hours of effort towards planning and strategizing, Pikes beat 12 other teams comprised of each Fraternity and Sorority on campus to take first in the biggest fundraising event of the year put on by the Greek community, rivaled only by Pike’s Football Run. Greek week is a 10 day extravaganza comprised of all sorts of competitions and fundraising events culminating with a sing and variety show where the overall winning team is announced. Dominating and earning points in almost all events, Pike placed second in the Sing competition and first in the Variety show to clinch victory this year. Thousands of dollars were raised for charities including The Coach Carr Cancer Fund, Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Red Cross, Mott Children’s Hospital, and Food Gatherers. Thanks to individual efforts and the support of the brotherhood as a whole, this years greek week was a great success.
